Jana Gana Rann ...

The first trailer of RGV's Rann is out now and what an irony it would be when the film about media would be discussed at lengths on the media channels itself . The reason I say so is is because it makes use of our national anthem and India is a place where even a word like "Barber" can cause controversy , let aside the National anthem . I am sure by the time I am writing this , some group would have already started consulting their lawyers and would be all set to file a case against the film's producers . The demand for Effigies of RGV and Amitabh Bachchan would have risen by now in the market and the creative heads at media channels would have started writing scripts for their half hour specials . The thing that I am thinking right now is whether RGV purposely put such a song because he wanted to create such a controversy and use media or it was his genuine intent to put forth his point using our national anthem to make the point more prominent .

RGV is one smart fellow and he has never shied away from controversies but what makes me think is the fact that the film which will be targeting the sensationalising of News would be at the center of it . Amitabh would also be getting ready to face some heat once the trailer gets popular because of all the wrong reasons . I mean this is the best publicity that any film can have . The News channels which are anyways very content deficit would show the ad 15 times in their special programs without charging a single penny . RGV on the other hand would be very happy and give a statement which will go something like this - " We have made sure that it doesn't hurt the sentiments of the audience and it is just the Media that is sensationalising the whole matter . This is the reason I am making such a film , to bring out the truth about media ".

The trailer by the way did impress me and I have nothing against it . I am all up for creative freedom and also in favour of the point that the film makes . My only concern is the ironical situation in which the film will land up . The release would be stalled and they would have to finally edit the song and this fact is known to the producers . I don't know but probably they would also be ready with the edited version of the whole thing .

Of late , none of RGV's films have impressed me or for that matter anybody . The last film that impressed me was Sarkar (part 1) and after that one it has been a poor show all the way . I hope with this film he returns to the form and make some great films for us like he has in the past . I hope , for a change the media channels don't give the film the free publicity and charge for it instead .

The Good ol' Music Videos

There was a flurry of pop songs and music videos during the 90's and some of them were really great . The thing that surprised me was the production standards that were maintained in those videos which were much higher than the movies of those times . Some of them had a nice story to tell and it worked fine with the music . There was no lack of creativity and they could be considered as nice short films . So I went down my memory lane and tried to recall some of those music videos that were both creative and visually interesting . Here's a list of them (in no specific order) ...

Vande Matram (A.R. Rehman) : This video produced by Bharatbala productions celebrating the 50th anniversary of Indian Independence did more for Rehman than what his film scores before together could do . This video gained him immense popularity and he became a known face from Music Industry which was a rarity in those days . I remember vividly that Sony Entertainment Television (SET) was the only channel where you could catch it initially and they ran it at full length several times a day . The song was great anyways but what added to its phenomenon was the video directed by Ganpathy Bharat (AKA Bharat Bala) who showed the spirit of India in a splendid way . Rajasthan never looked so beautiful as it did in this video and production standards were way high than the movies of those days . The huge Tricolor in the video made us feel more proud of the nation we live in . I was personally fascinated with the Helicopter shot of the flag and people running towards the flag . This video left everybody saying "Maa Tujhe Salaam" .

O sanam (Lucky Ali): This was the first of many Lucky Ali videos that feature on this list . Probably the first video ever to be shot in the exotic locales of Egypt around the Pyramids . I have no idea who directed lucky ali's videos but all of them had a great concept that very well matched with the songs and Lucky Ali's persona . This video also had Lucky's first wife in it who looked very beautiful . The video had an element of mystery and probably Egypt was the best location for this . This video became immensely popular and ran on MTV's charts for 60 weeks .
Lucky Ali also got popular and his different style of singing and video became an instant hit .

Dekha Hai Aise Bhi (Lucky Ali): If O Sanam captured the mystique of Egypt , the video of Dekha Hai Aise Bhi captured the life of America in it . Lucky Ali is a wanderer by nature and this was quite evident in this video . The concept in this one again was a bit different and had a nice little story in it . The video tried to show the two different shades of women in it . Lucky always featured himself in his videos and in my opinion nobody else could have done justice to the videos apart from him . There is always an element of sadness and loneliness in his videos which makes them very different from usual stuff and also leaves a lasting impression .

Aur Ahista kije Baatein (Pankaj Udhas): A very beautiful song and had nice simple video which added to the beauty of the song . The video was based on the famous short story of O. Henry , "The Gift of Magi" , that we all have read in our school days . It featured Sameera Reddy and a foreigner along with her . The video was pretty simple but what worked was the chemistry between Sameera and that guy and made this romantic song even more romantic . Sameera looked really beautiful and got a lot of attention . The beauty of the video lies in its simplicity and its story which very well matched with the song .

Aankhon Mein Tera hi Chehra (Aryans) : This video captured the innocence of first crush really well . This one released alongside my first crush so came very close to my heart in those days . Hrishita became my dream girl and her smile killed me . The whole concept here was also beautiful and Shahid very well enacted it . Shahid looked good as a nervous young kid who falls for the girl next door . And Hrishita was the perfect girl next door . The whole sequence where he buys a nighty for her from the lingerie section was very funny and also cute in a way . The video not only reminds us of first crush but also of first heart break very well . Aryans got lost somewhere but their video is an all time classic .

Duba Duba Rehta Hun (Silk Route) : This is probably the only music video to be shot entirely under water . I couldn't quite figure out the concept but still loved its novelty . The video was shot really beautifully and the images of the car under water are still strong in my head . The silk route also got drowned after this hit song and never came back with a hit . Overall , the video was more beautiful than the song and had a very different concept . Whoever the Director was needed to be applauded for daring to go under water with this crazy concept .

Made in India (Alisha Chinoy) : Well this is the reason why music videos came into existence in India and I had to mention it . For the first time , India got a Sexy and beautiful female singer who also sung very well . If she proved an eye candy for the guys , the video also had Milind Soman flaunting his body for the girls . The video released when "Made In India" tag was considered to be a substandard . Alisha's dream of becoming an Indian Madonna got some ground through this video and she became quite popular . Most of her other videos were good but none became as popular as this one .

Maaeri (Euphoria) : This song from the second album of Euphoria is one my favourites and it also has one of the best videos . I am not sure but I think Pradeep Sarkar (of Parineeta) directed this video and he did a fine job with it . Pradeep has a thing for trains and this video very beautifully captured the spirit of Indian Railways . The Railway Journey is one of the most beautiful ways to experience the real India and Railway stations always provide with some beautiful scenes from life . The video also had a nice story to tell with Palash and Rimi Sen in the lead . This was probably the first break for Rimi Sen and she looked good along with Palash . There's a girl towards the end of this video , Sonal Sehgal , who I really adore and soon she would also be seen on screen along with John Abraham in Nagesh Kukunoor's Aashaiyen . Overall , both the song and the video are great and one of my all time favourites .

Ghar Aaja Soniya (Shazia Manzoor) : I am not sure how many of you remember this one but this was a beautiful song in my opinion and had a really sentimental video . The whole story of the video was fabulous and touches your heart . Our heart goes out for the beautiful girl in this video who is dumb and deaf and loves her husband very much . Shrabani Mukherji who is also cousin of Rani Mukherjee played the girl and she did a great job . Sameer Soni was her husband in the video and he also acted well . The music of this song had a haunting feel to it and Shurobi Saigal who directed the video captured that feel well in the video . This video , though a sad one , still is one of the all time best . Strangely, despite such a beautiful song neither of the associated people made it big in the glamour world .

Dil Kya Kare (Instant Karma): Though this was a remixed version of old hit song but still it is not of the "Kaanta Laga" league and had some standard . This one sung by Shaan had a beautifully shot video which made a nice use of still photography too . The video was one of its kind and the level of production was again quite high . The cinematography of this video was a real visual treat and it became an instant hit . Both the models in this video were great looking and added to the beauty of the video . The music was by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and they really did a fabulous job in remixing yet preserving the originality of the song .

Ir Bir Fatte (Amitabh Bachchan) : The song didn't make much of a sense but as a young kid I loved the song and so did my fellow friends . I remember trying to memorise the song because of its fun lyrics . Though it was a disaster , the video still was interesting enough to be mentioned here . Amitabh tried to show some of his moves in this video along with the kids . Shot mostly in Black and White it still looked good and was a fun video for me as a kid . I tried to find this video on internet but couldn't get it .

Anjani Rahon Mein (Luck Ali) : Another of Lucky Ali's great videos , this one captures his journey back home and shows the beauty of India . This video is like "Mini Swades" and tries to show the real India and how people of India value love more than anything . The whole concept here also was great but the cinematography wasn't as good as it was in his previous videos . The Director should have shown India in a more beautiful way . Still , what mattered was the concept and that part was good . The video aimed at projecting the love for our nation and that came across quite well . I miss Lucky Ali and his videos , don't know when he plans to make another one of these .

These are some of the videos that I could recall and there were several others by Raageshwari , Asha Bhosle , Jagjit Singh and Sonu Nigam etc. which were also good . I really miss these videos and now the whole Pop scene is empty . We now only get to see and hear film music . These videos were nice little stories and also gave singer a chance to show what he/she feels . The music companies are not interested in dong this any more when they are making such huge profits with film music . I can say that I was lucky to grow in a period when pop music was at its high and got to see such beautiful videos while growing .

There's a good chance that I might have missed some in this list so do tell me ...

Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna --- Movie Review

I've finally watched Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna almost two years after its release and the first thing I thought was that why didn't I watch it earlier . Strangely this is a film that I always wanted to watch but somehow I just couldn't but I think things happen for good . The film is definitely for a mature audience and I can say that though I would have liked it if I had seen it back then but probably I liked it even more today since I am a bit more mature than what I was two years ago . And I am sure as I would grow old this film might come even more close to my heart . I know there are very few people who would actually agree with me and going by the IMDB ratings of just 5 out of 10 based on some 3000 odd user votes , I am sure I am on the wrong side or probably the right one .

When it comes to relationships there is probably no one better than KJo who shows them on screen and though his films are always type-casted as "Candy-Floss Entertainment" and several other such Media terms but the truth is that his films have always had a good story to tell . So what if his style of story-telling is a bit larger than life .KANK in my opinion is not at all larger than life . What I mean to say is that the basic story of the film is not at all larger than life . It can happen anywhere in this whole world . A "Sexy Sam" might be a bit larger than life but an emotional father who pretends to be happy and live life to the max is not at all larger than life . In similar manner all other characters are very much real and its just that their packaging is a bit glossy which probably makes it feel a bit unreal . But I won't blame Karan for this , I mean despite the characters being "interesting" the audience didn't like them . Imagine what would have happened if they would have been very simple and quite boring .

Talking of film , the first half of the film is quite entertaining and is nicely paced . It introduces the characters and their lives in an entertaining way and also shows the nature of the relationships between them .This film is very different from Karan's prior work and there are no Emotional Dialogues and Melodrama for majority of the film's part . One thing that struck me in a pleasant way were the dialogues which were quite ordinary and there was no use of a very heavy Vocabulary . I almost felt like I've heard such dialogues in daily life . The verbal arguments amongst both the couples were kept pretty short and mature and there was no excessive screaming and "Rona-Dhona" . The film was kept as less dramatised as possible . The first half has some nice comic sequences which provide some nice light hearted entertainment along with some beautiful and rocking numbers . The film strangely comes from Karan who is still a bachelor and he for sure has seen some similar relationships in real life and probably very closely . The way he handled the entire Infidelity issue in a mature way shows that he has got a very close view to similar relations .

The film has almost a perfect cast with every actor very well suiting his/her character . SRK's portrayal of a frustrated and a bit crazy "Dev" is really worth praising . His craziness though looks a bit nasty but has an element of Honesty all through out which makes it something special .SRK very well enacts a guy who is frustrated because both his Dreams and Relationships are shattered and weak . SRK very well understood the mood of the character and portrayed it in a great way . All other actors were perfect in their roles and even the small kid of SRK and Preity was cute and acted well .

The final part of the film which didn't quite went down well amongst the majority of audience , in my opinion , is quite apt and is again a mature one . The audience just needs to understand the point of view of Karan on the whole issue of relationships and if one can understand that , I am sure he/she would like the film . This film though got famous because it talked of Infidelity but I think that more than infidelity the film talks more about relationships and how they should be .One can learn so much about relationships from this film .It is quite a modern take on institution of Marraige and Karan puts forth his point very well with no sugarcoating . Strangely when commercial actors do a slightly different and an honest film like this one it is not appreciated at all . Again , Karan was criticised that he always makes family films then why did he make such a film . If you ask me it is still a family film for any family living in a metro . The adult humour is not at all vulgar and if you have a modern family you can certainly watch it together .

The cinematography of the film is also good and New York Life has been shown in a beautiful way . The music of the film adds so much to the film and it is one of the albums that impresses me all throughout . The Dialogues by Niranjan Iyenger as I said earlier were very daily conversation types and that also added to the beauty of the film . The film has a gloomy and depressive feel all throughout in its underbelly and ironically it represents all those relations which look all happy and perfect from outside but have a lot going on beneath the surface . Karan has written a fine story and along with Shibani Bhatija he has done a good job on screenplay too . The film talks about relationship issues which we Indians mostly prefer to discuss only in hush tones . Karan knows how to direct and there is no question about that . His style is a bit different and I think he should not be undermined by classifying him and his films into various various categories .

Overall , its a real nice film and probably Karan's best work till date . The film needs to be appreciated for its honesty and maturity . I hope Karan feels the same way for his next film as he did for this one and that one is also as honest as this one . The stars also need to be appreciated for standing by Karan to make such a film and they should do more such films .

Film Rating : Four out of Five ; for its honesty and good story .

Delhi 6 --- Movie Review

"It Happens only in India" , well this is the line that Govinda proudly danced to in some song in the Nineties but it is this same line that can very well make you feel ashamed if you can understand the sarcasm behind it . Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is one film maker who has never feared of experimenting and now he is back with his latest experiment , Delhi 6 , which again has a social message wrapped around all the entertainment . His last film created quite a stir and he suddenly shot into fame for his distinct style of film-making . This film is probably the closest to his heart because he explores Delhi in this film where he has grown up .

Delhi 6 basically has a simple story but what makes it special is the treatment and also its characters . Every and I mean every character of the film represents a different shade of our society and has a story of its own to tell . Looking a little deep into the characters one can find that every character deals with something which is directly or indirectly connected to our society . Right from the kids to the grandma and from a sweeper to a NRI , every one of them represent some or the other reality of our society . These characters are very real and can be found anywhere in a typical Indian locality . In this case Chandni Chowk is that locality which in a way represents the overall Indian society . Rakesh has very well picked up a real life instance that took place in Delhi around 2001 and using that he has shown a mirror to our society . The real life incidence is that of the Monkey Man that haunted the streets of Delhi in Night in summers of 2001 . Believe it or not it was also featured in Time magazine . Take a look here : Time

Rakesh has formed a great story using that incidence and has tried to show the biggest weakness of our society and how we need to look inwards before we look at others . This tendency of ignoring the self and blaming it on someone else is what the film focusses on . Finding a scapegoat to blame is easiest way out and this is what our society has been doing since like forever . Just like Danny Boyle came from somewhere and understood one reality of our country and portrayed it in his film , the lead character of this film , Roshan a NRI , comes to India and tries to understand one more reality of our society .

I won't talk of the story anymore and would just say that its a film that needs to be watched and needs to be discussed . The "Kaala Bandar" which represents a thousand things in the film is something that will make you think and make you laugh at the same time . Its a satire from start till end and Rakesh has clearly conveyed his thoughts through his film . I am not sure if the general audience can understand the Sarcasm in it which probably needs to understand it the most . The film thus would appeal more to the intelligent audience or the so called Multiplex audience . People expecting it to be usual entertainer would certainly be disappointed .

Rakesh has also very well used the Raam Leela sequence throughout the film to convey his message and this is not like the one in Swades . This one comes in small doses and probably leaves more impact . He needs to be applauded for using that sequence because in India people are more passionate about religion than the values associated with it . He has also very well used various other Indian practices that are followed since ages only in the name of religion and spirituality to represent the Hollowness ("Khoklapan") of our society .

Coming to performances , all the actors have been perfectly casted and each one of them gives in a stellar performance . Abhishek after a long time has done a meaningful film and has impressed throughout . His portrayal of a NRI trying to understand the Real India is praiseworthy . Sonam also very well portrays the middle class girl who dreams big . Sadly she has a small part in the film and most of it has been shown in the trailers itself . Still , she acts well and makes her presence felt among the other good actors like Om Puri , Roshi Kapoor , Atul Kulkarni , Vijay Raaz , Pavan Malhotra,Waheeda Rehman , etc. . Two of the performances that surprised me were that of Mamdu , a Jalebi seller , played by Deepak Dobriyal and that of the sweeper which has been played by Divya Dutta . Rishi Kapoor is getting good roles these days and his part though a small one is still good . Every other actor has performed as expected and one which stood out was that of Vijay Raaz's portrayal of a typical policeman .

The music of the film is also an integral part of the film and Rehman's music does its job . Without his music the film would have been a little difficult to digest . The writers of the film have done a pretty good job and the film moves at a fine pace . The special effects in the picturisation of "Dil Mera Gira Dafatan" are good and worth mentioning . The song has a very nice concept and the special effects add a whole new dimension to it . The cinematography by Binod Pradhan is also great and he shows the real Delhi in a real way . The background score by Rehman is also good and some of the stunts featuring Abhishek were also good .

Overall , the film is one of its kind and it holds a mirror to our society which needs a change that has to come from within each of us . Rakesh has made a brave attempt by making this film and he needs to complimented for it . The producers UTV and whole of the cast also needs to be applauded for supporting such a fine film . Watch it and try to find the Kaala Bandar within .

Sarkar Raj --- Movie Review

First Tashan and now Sarkar Raj , I don't know why prominent film makers are going back in time and making films like they used to be made years ago ? The sequel to Indian Godfather , Sarkar , is out in the theaters now and it seems to me that while Godfather 2 set parameters in terms of sequels , this one completely violates those . It is always said that one should not compare a sequel with the original one but if the sequel is not done well then comparisons are bound to happen . So here I go .

While Sarkar was a very tight film and quite brisk , this one has long emotional "speeches" and not dialogues , that go about very slowly in the film . The story is more or less the same , only the characters have been changed . And this is what Sarkar Raj lacks , a good storyline . Ramu recently gave an interview where he said that how much wrong he could go when he himself has created the characters in the original one which was a success . Well , here Ramu was wrong , he has not only gone competely wrong but also added nothing to the original movie , apart from so many characters that one tends to forget who is the central character .

Any film no doubt stands on the strength of its characters but if there are so many of them then it just becomes a circus where one by one animals come , do their act and then go . In Sarkar the negative characters were also played by some of the most power house performers like Kay Kay whereas in this one the negative characters were more of Jokers than actors . I seriously missed Kay Kay in the movie . Maybe Ramu has got a little afraid since Bachchans are the only one that trust him and he didn't want to offend them by making a stronger negative character that could overshadow them a little bit . Kay Kay is one such performer that can stand neck to neck with the Bachchans . If Sarkar or a Godfather doesn't have a challenger as powerful as he himself is then it is a no show all together . So , Ramu failed in that department .

Now talking a little about story , it starts with a leader of opposition wanting to get the seat of the CM and to get it plays a big game to defame Sarkar and his family in public . He along with an International company try to bring a Power Plant project into Maharashtra which involves displacing a lot of people of Village . The company is owned by Ash's father and she comes to India to head the project . The project is mainly situated in the hometown of Amitabh where he grew up and where his guru lives . Amitabh refuses it as it involves thousands of people's lives but Abhishek thinks of the future progress and convinces Amitabh to talk to his Guru , Rao-saab , back in the village about the project . Rao-saab has a grandson , Sanjay Somji , who is a local leader and quite a rebel . Amitabh and Abhishek convince Rao Saab and start their dream project for the progress of Maharashtra . But his grandson doesn't support them and starts a violent protest against them . Then starts the entire Political game in which Abhishek loses not only his wife , Avanti (Tanisha) , but also his unborn child and eventually his own life also . Then the old Sarkar comes back to full force and takes a revenge of the death of his son .

Talking again of Sarkar , it connected emotionally to an extent with the audience where it portrayed the struggle between a son and a father who have a different ideology . It also had Abhishek killing his own brother which was an excellently done scene by all the actors . Whereas Sarkar Raj doesn't connect with the audience at all just because of the plain simple fact that it just doesn't have those emotions in the script itself .The emotional scenes which are there in the movie are stereotype and they just don't appeal to the audience of today . Today nobody cares for long emotional speeches beacuse nobody has time for it . Today , everything has to be short and sweet , just like Twenty Twenty . And when cricketing fraternity has also understood it Ramu probaly hasn't . He has given Dialogues to Amitabh that he last would have delivered in the Mid Seventies holding the Temple Bells . Dialogue pe Dialogue , thats it . Whereas Sarkar had very few dialogues and more of Acting .

The Dialogues are so much in abundance that when Abhishek is on the deathbed then also Amitabh is delivering heavy weight dialogues to his son . Today's youth is not at all going to like it . The movie might work with the oldies and Die hard Amitabh fans , but not for me . One more thing that doesn't make sense to me is the Time Frame that Ramu has kept in his mind for Sarkar . Ramu always talks of realistic cinema , now tell me is it possible to have a person as strong as Sarkar in today's times when media is constantly up your asses ? Abhishek along with just Two men going out and killing 50 other armed people and coming back alive , is that realism ? How can he change all of a sudden from Realistic to a Larger than Life cinema lover ? Ramu accuses Karan Johar of portraying SRK larger than life in his films . Well , he himself has done the same with the Bachchans' in this one .

Leaving that aside and talking a little technical , the film has two and half hour long background with constant chants of Govinda that just doesn't stop till the film ends . The background score is very much inspired from Ramu's own films like Ab Tak 56 and Company . Ramu has himself taught Indian filmmkaers the importance of Background score through his films like Bhoot , Company and Darna Mana Hai . And now may be he has got a hang of himself and abusing it rather than using it wisely . His famous dark and documentry like cinematography is in this one also with a sepia touch . But the camera work is at times brilliant but most of the times quite annoying along with hammering background score . The entire film is focussed on Maharashtra and desn't talk in general . Ab Tak 56 did well specially in Maharastra circle because it had Nana in it . Ramu has tried to that formula again so that film works well at least in Maharashtra .

Now talking of acting , their is very little for Abhishek and Ash in it . Though the posters of the film just show Abhishek but he is in no manner the central character . Ramu wants to create an Amitabh out of Abhishek by portraying him as the new angry young man but one piece of advice for Ramu , times have changed and we don't need one more Amitabh , we already have seen one . Just like SLB tried to portray a new Rishi in form of Ranbeer Kapoor in in Saawariya , RGV tries it on Abhishek . Ash has done her part well and she looks quite glamorous in the movie . Ramu lied on the fact that there is no romantic angle between Abhi and Ash . In fact , there is and probably ash wouldn't have signed the movie without it . An undercurrent of romance is in the entire film between Abhishek and Ash . Amitabh as I said earlier was in his vintage avatar giving emotional dialogues that he once used to give . The new guy Rajesh Shringapure (Somji ) has done a lot of over-acting and I don't expect much from him . Upendra Limaye has done his part well as Kantilal Vora , a true businessman .

Overall , the movie is quite slow since the story is not that long and it has just been dragged for two and half hours . The characters in this one didn't connect that well and the screenplay and direction was also not that good . Script was again weak as it is a regulation in Bollywood films these days . A die hard Amitabh or Abhishek fan might like it and there is a surprise for Ash's fan also . In totality , Ramu has tried to please all the three bachchans in the film . I expect a great film from a director like RGV after films like Rangeela , Company , Bhoot , Satya and Sarkar under his belt but my expectations are denied . I hope he comes up with something new in Contract , his next film , which is suppose to be a trilogy ending the satya and company series . Stop making same old Crime Films and Horror films . Come out with something new , like a sci-fi or a love story , take a break .

War of the Words

First things first , I am too small a person to comment on the greats like Amitabh Bachchan , Aamir Khan and SRK , but still as a writer and a blogger I write what I feel in my heart so please excuse me if you do not agree with my opinions .

I don't know what is with both Amitabh Sir and Aamir who are nowadays more in the news for statements that they make on SRK rather than their work . Considering both have no media attention these days they have found the next gen media i.e. the Internet quite useful to convey unnecessary stuff to the people . While Amitabh Sir is Showing Graphs of his popularity compared with that of SRK on his blog , Aamir is busy telling the story of a dog whose name only has got his blog over 5000 comments so far and don't how many millions of hits .

Now what is the necessity of doing this by the league of greats ? If Aamir does it , then also its OK but if a great personality like Amitabh Bachchan is also doing it then it is just shameful . It seems to me that Amitabh Bachchan can't digest the fact that SRK's popularity is increasing day by day and his days are passing by . These acts of Amitabh sir is only going to leave a black spot on his glorious career of past few decades . Now , even I think that he should retire with Dignity , which doesn't mean he should stop working .

Interpersonal Relationships with your colleagues is a major part of any Professional person's success and that applies even to an Actor . Everybody knows that after the Big marriage of Abhishek and Aishwarya , the bachchan family has suffered a huge blow in that department . Ash as everybody knows is not that popular with her colleagues and now even Amitabh sir is not . Both Big B and Ash have had their share of success so now it doesn't matter to them if they have good or bad relations with others . But the biggest sufferer in this case is Abhishek who has not much of career and if he would not keep a healthy rapport with his colleagues I am afraid his career won't be even as good as his spouse . I couldn't spot any member of the Bachchan family at any of the award functions which are more of a big way to socialize among the friends in Bollywood . Seriously , Award ceremonies in Bollywood are just like a big party thrown by the organisers and every major person gets a small trophy as a return gift . If he/she is not nominated then he/she receives a special award so that they don't go back home unhappy . And if Amitabh Bachchan is going to talk rubbish of SRK who is quite powerful in Industry won't help any bit for Abhishek's carrier .

Coming to Aamir Khan , who was always considered media shy has suddenly turned into this candid person who shares irrelevant things on his Blog . Aamir has built up his own image of not working too much but just doing the quality work and keeping a low profile and a Dignified Silence . But from past few months he has all of a sudden decided to work more and even talk more . SRK as we all know works really hard and has made his presence felt in every sphere of life and his popularity charts are growing everyday beacuse he is considered as an Icon by the youth of today which believes in working hard and dreaming the impossible . This is what probably not going down well with Aamir probably who always thought that youth idealizes him . Earlier it was considered that Aamir speaks with his work but now its the words that come out of his mouth saying a lot about him . As they say , Chose your words Wisely before speaking and may be Aamir who has always kept a silence doesn't know how to do it . First he got into the whole no. one thing and now into his caretaker's dog name .

One can't change his/her image overnight and if Aamir and Amitabh have made an image of themselves in the public then they should try to maintain it rather than outdoing themselves and doing something that they have never done in their life . If today SRK would have made such a statement like that of Aamir (which I don't think he wold have made beacuse he is quite responsible when it comes to his sense of humour ) then SRK would have also got the same response from public because humour has a limit when it is made in public . SRK is cheasy but he doesn't offend the feelings of general people whereas Aamir has pressed the nerves of all SRK fans which I think are way more in number . He has probably lost a control on his brain along with his hair .

Anyways I just think that responsible people like Amitabh Sir and Aamir are wise enough to understand the value and effects of their words and learn to use them more carefully in future . One line from Spiderman for all of you ---- "With great power comes great responsibility " .
