Two Movies in two consecutive weeks , both Suspense Thrillers and both being very Different from each other , yet fantastic entertainers . My last review was on Manorama .... & that one was a surprise package and now this one is on Johny Gaddar which is another surprise package coming from a director who has made only one movie i.e. Ek Hasina Thi ( Urmila & Saif Starrer ) .
Johny Gaddar as the name suggest involves a Traitor & the whole movie surrounds It ( I am not mentioning the sex bcoz that's the secret ) . Well the movie involves a gang whose leader is Dharmendra (as Sheshadri ) and it involves four other members Star Cast
Neil Mukesh...... Vikram
Zakir Hussain ...... Shardul
Vinay Pathak ...... Prakash
Dayanand Shetty ... Shiva .
The movie revolves around a Drug deal worth Rs. 2.5 Crores and how things happen dramatically around this deal . The movie is inspired from Old Classic Thrillers like Parwana (*ing Amitabh Bacchan & Naveen Nishchal ) and Johny Mera Naam ( *ing Dev-anand ) . The storyline is a typical Pulp Fiction Novel type involving Sex , Crime & Violence yet it keeps the Viewer bound to it due to the Suspense element in it . The movie is shot in Film Noir genre , much like Quentin Tarantino's (Kill Bill fame ) Movies . This seems to first of its kind yet there have been similar attempts in the 70's and 80's in Bollywood itself .
Apart from everything , the movie is a worth a watch and will be liked by suspense and action lovers . The new boy Neil Mukesh ( Son of singer Nitin Mukesh ) performs quite well & makes his presence felt among other great actors . The movie is well shot and well directed . Sriram Raghvan comes out of the Shadow of RGV and proves his Mettle as a director . Considering Ramu's movies going nowhere maybe he should appoint him ( Ramu ) as an assistant . Rimi Sen plays her part well and the remaining cast also does well . The common factor among Manorama.. & Johny Gaddar , Vinay Pathak , again proves that he is more than a mere comedian .
On a whole the movie is one of its kind & worth a watch , go for it , you'll love it . After this I hope Sriram Raghvan will get some courage to make another of this kind , perhaps on a bigger scale . The movie gets three Stars ( *** ) from my side for its distinctive style & fast paced storyline .
Rating : *** Worth a watch .

INDIA WINS ! ! ! ---- Dhoni The Gambler wins the last Hand

And as the DJ played the title track from Chak de! India, there was not a dry eye in the stadium. The Pakistani fans were in tears that Misbah-ul-Haq took the side so close and could not seal the win. The Indians could not control their emotions any longer and let the tears flow. Some tried to sing along and realized their voices were choked.

MANORAMA -- Six Feet Under
er performance. The background score of the movie is also great with not even a single sound being missed . The two songs which are there in the movie suits the situation . I forgot to mention Vinay Pathak who plays a Police Inspector in the movie and as usual pulls it off very well . He should get better roles in which he could show his limits . His performance stands out very well among others .

Harry Potter Biggest Film Franchise Ever!
n November 21, 2008. The seventh and final film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, is planned for a 2010 release. None of this comes as much of a surprise since the Harry Potter films have truly been a cut above in terms of production and casting with perfect plotting provided by J.K. Rowling. Still, the studio should be congratulated for keeping up the quality. And Warner Bros Entertainment and Universal Orlando Resort have "The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter" coming to Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park in late 2009.

Two in One - - - Twins in Limelight
biology . Well we all now the Olsen Twins who have appeared in several TV shows and Films together . For those of you who don't know they first appeared in the famous TV sitcom " Full House " in the role of Michelle Tanner . They were hired at the age of six months, and filming began when they were nine months old. The show was widely popular during the late 1980s and early 1990s, and both sisters played the same character taking turns during the tapings to do so, in order to comply with strict child labor laws regarding child actors. For the first year, Ashley would cry when she was brought on set to do a scene, so Mary-Kate had more screen time in the first season. Then after this they did many films and TV sitcoms together .
Disney Channel . The series stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse. They play Cody and Zack Martin, identical twins, whose single mother, Carey, is the headlining singer at the Tipton Hotel. Now they live in a five-star hotel in Boston as a provision of her contract. The series has spawned two video games: one for the Nintendo DS entitled "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody: Tipton Trouble" and a titular release for the Game Boy Advance .

AAJA NACHLE ----- Trailer review

Aaja Nachle --- Madhuri is Back
The much awaited comeback film of Madhuri Dixit , Aaja Nachle's trailer is out now and to be fair its not that good . The teaser trailer is too short and can appeal only to die hard fans of Madhuri which I think exist in small numbers today. Its been a long time since any one has seen her onscreen & I don't think this trailer would do any good. I don't think she is that big a star in today's scenario and hence would not be able to attract the masses on her own. The teaser should have had some hint of the story line to work. The film is written by Jaideep Sahni who also wrote Chak De India . Considering chak de's success one thing is sure that at least the writing would be good for this one.
Yet the trailer is a disappointment and I think Laga Chunari Mein Daag (Yashraj's Next) had a better trailer than this one . Aaja Nachle is been directed by Anil Mehta who is a well known Cinematographer and this is his Debut film. Anil has done cinematography for several films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam & Veer Zaara. The movie also stars Akshaye Khanna , Konkana Sen & Kunal Kapoor.
Lets see ahead. Will Madhuri's Charm hit gold or not will depend on story of the film. The trailer is even worse than Om Shanti Om's trailer. Thumbs Down for this one.
